HOW TO HIDE DATA BEHIND IMAGES

There are lot of ways (both with software as well as without software) to hide your personal data. Generally hiding data using software is considered to be more secured.Although this technique (called as steganography) doesn't need any software, still it is also one of the most safest, undetectable technique to hide data. This technique is used by terrorists to communicate (via hiding msgs behind images). It is descibed below in very simple steps =>

1.]Collect all the data you want to hide in a folder (named  here DATA).
2.]Now copy paste that folder and the image(behind which you want to hide the data, named here as PHOTO) to dektop.
3.]Right Click on the folder and click  [ADD TO "DATA.RAR"].this will make one more file(named data.rar) on your desktop.

4.]Now click on START , type RUN . A window with title run will pop-up.Type cmd over there and press enter.
 5.]Now type CD DESKTOP.
6.]Then type COPY /B PHOTO.JPG+DATA.RAR RESULT.JPG and you are done.
7.]Type EXIT to close that window(which is command prompt actually).
8.]Now if you have noticed that a new image named RESULT is created on your desktop. When you double click on it , it will open the image and it would be same as before(without even a single pixel changed). If you see it'size, that will be the addition of size of previous image and your data. That means data is inside the file only.BUT WHERE IT IS ?????

The answer is RIGHT CLICK on it , OPEN WITH winRAR ARCHIVER. and the data is in front of you.

By this way you can just hide the data behind an image , but to hide the data behind different type of files with more advanced facilities (like password, secret msg etc.) we use softwares. One of the freeware and most popular software is STEGOMAGIC which can be easily be downloaded from google or Click Here
